My writing has appeared in many publications, including Word Riot, Babel, Razorcake, the Zine Yearbook, the Racine
Journal-Times
, the Peninsula Pulse, and the Shepherd Express.  Not to mention my own zines, Safety Pin Girl (c. 1999-2004), A
Shout In The Street
(c. 2004), Sad and Beautiful World (c. 2004-present), and various one-shots.  A group of Chicago filmmakers
based their film,
Brush Fires, which was released in autumn 2004, on a poem I wrote of the same title.  I have been part of several
spoken word/music engagements, including the Perpetual Motion Roadshow in September of 2003, FILF in July of 2006, and
Thee Hobo Love Tour in September of 2008.
